By accessing or using BurnGuard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BurnGuard is a SaaS platform that provides real-time cost monitoring and optimization tools for AI agent usage. The Service includes a local monitoring agent, a cloud-hosted backend, and a web dashboard.

3. Account Registration

You may register for an account by generating an API key. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription Plans

BurnGuard offers Free, Pro ($9/month), and Team ($29/month) subscription plans. Features and limitations vary by plan as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.

6. Data Accuracy

Cost calculations are based on published model pricing and token counts reported by your AI provider. BurnGuard provides estimates and is not responsible for discrepancies between our calculations and your provider's actual billing.

7. Limitation of Liability

BurnGuard is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to unexpected AI costs that the Service failed to prevent.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
